My Oma is German. My grandfather was Iranian. They named their daughter Daryadokht — the Farsi word for daughter of the sea. Boundless, yet distinct. A name that crossed borders before she ever did.

DAiA is an ode to both my Oma and my mother. It aims to honor the lineage of women who shaped how I see, how I dress, and what I believe every person deserves to feel when they walk into a room.
